Hurrah!! .....Wow!!...We Made It!!!
At our new location 98 Kent Street West in downtown Lindsay We are absolutely thrilled to open the doors to our new location at 98 Kent Street West. If you happened to walk by in the past three weeks and you peeked in the windows you will be amazed when you see the transformation that has taken place. Liz has been supported in this move by every member of her family and all the Cathy Allan team. A peek in the doors would have revealed her brother Ted, her nephews Josh, Andrew and Matthew, her brother-in-law Jeff, her sister Carol, her sons Jesse and Regan, her Aunt Joanne and her mother Milly and father Jim, Nikki Kirkby, Zach, Deejah Williams and Dianne Dalton all busy hammering, cleaning, sawing, putting together cupboards, constructing new wall facings and change rooms and all the many tasks associated with putting the Cathy Allan stamp on the new store.

Meanwhile back at the “ranch” the Cathy Allan team was busy packing up and clearing out the old store. Then it was on to the new location merchandising and setting up for opening day. What a truly inspiring group who are so dedicated to making the store a continued success. We encourage you to plan a visit soon to see the new trendy, boutique look and of course to check out the beautiful new spring fashions. We are privileged to be supported by a wonderful group of merchants helping to make the downtown core of Lindsay a vibrant and exciting place to visit.
Opening Day At 9:30 on Tuesday, March 1st the doors opened to receive the first customers at the new location. What a buzz as old and new friends called in to visit and to see our new look. It was such a wonderful occasion and we were so happy to share it with our loyal customers. Just in case you couldn’t make it there on day one we thought you might like a sample of what happened.

Last Day at the old Store Oh my goodness……. By 7:45am customers were lined up outside the door waiting to take advantage of the fabulous sale ($20 for almost any item in the store and drastically reduced prices on special occasion dresses excluding new stock). It was a shopping frenzy! We were absolutely delighted with the response from our customers and know that many, many shoppers went away VERY happy---to say nothing of their partners when they saw how much money was saved!!! A special thanks to all the ladies (over 100) who came out to support this event. You can tell be looking at the photos that a good time was had by all...including the staff!!

Strawberry Trifle
Ingredients:
Directions:
Prepare pudding with milk according to package directions. In a trifle bowl or other glass serving dish, layer half the cake pieces, half the pudding, half the bananas, half the strawberries and half the whipped topping. Repeat layers. Cover and chill in refrigerator 4 hours before serving.
